Welcome to my new web site. My name is Don Williams and I am a freelance Design Engineer (what used to be known as a Draughtsman). I have been in the business for longer than I care to think about and have been using AutoCad, almost exclusively, for the last 5 years.

I am gradually getting used to working in an increasingly technological age. I acquired a digital camera last year and have been using it to further my interest in photography. I currently use a Cannon PowerShot Zoom and have just upgraded my printer to an Epsom Stylus PHOTOEX A3, because the old HP DeskJet 850-C wasn’t really up to the job.

Last year my son and daughter surprised me by turning up on an Alaskan cruise (with both of their partners) that my wife, Joan, and I were taking to celebrate our Ruby wedding anniversary. The “Milk Tray Man” photo was taken on a glacier during a trip that we took during the cruise. We got there by helicopter (a first for the entire family!) and took part in some husky powered sled riding (another first).
